Cagliari is located in the southern part of Sardinia, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea on the south and on the east, and is the capital of this Italy’s beautiful island. The surroundings are stunning landscapes, featuring incredible beaches and parks filled with flamingos, and the city is all about its history and shares its love for food, culture and music. Among the must-see natural and cultural attractions, there is the Molentargius Park, a natural reserve in the heart of Cagliari, populated by pink flamingos, the Roman Anphiteatrus of the II century A.D., which hosted gladiators’ fights, and Poetto beach, seven Km of white sandy beach inside the city, for a relaxing break after the conference :)
